Do any Hong Kong cinemas show movies in English?

    As everyone wants to repeat the same thing after Jimbo....english movies are in english, asian are in asian, both with sub's.

    Heh, this is very true. We had to go all the way to the "foreigner" area to find a place that was showing Shrek 2 in English :lol:

    Er, well sort of. Some films are shown here in slightly edited form to get the desired certificate... US films have much higher levels of tolerance of violence, and European films much higher levels of tolerance of nudity/sex than allowed under HK's III rating (which seems to be like the UK's 18 rating was 20 years ago).

    Not true, Kill Bill was shown totally uncut and unedited here. While both in European and American this (even) more violent version version was not shown.
