Booking a billiards table for this friday evening

Tried to book a billiards table at Joes Billiards, wanchai for this Friday evening and was told that rate is HKD 1005.

isn't that a bit too much? .. I thought it would be more like 100 an hour

Any info in this regard would help - thanks!

You obviously picked the wrong place, in HK, things VARY in price.

I've never been to Joe's Billiards but I assume there was a miscommunication, maybe they meant 105. If not, there are plenty of normal billiard halls around charging normal prices, just go to the one in your neighbourhood. Check the Yellow Pages if you don't know where.
