when i went travelling i got the insurance from bluecross via HKST ( hong kong students' travel ) , i just had to download the form and mail them with all the necessary documents then they sent me a cheque for the claims like 6 weeks later. i didn't have to go there in person, but i'm not sure if they would mail the cheque to somewhere outside hong kong, (maybe if you have some friends in hong kong that helps you to collect the cheque via mail ( not registered mail ) that would be alright), i'm not 100% sure, but you could check out bluecross if you want, hope that helps.
