I have got flashed doing 140 Km/H in a 70 zone on eastern highway, was driving my mates benz, grey import, thougth i was doing 80 but it was MPH, this was like around 2 am so not many cars on the road. Tried telling the judge that, he threw the book at me. 6 months immediate ban plus 1K fine.

That was my 1st ever speeding ticket exceeding 15 kmh. I have had 1 more before but that was 65 in a 50 zone.

    >> i was doing 80 but it was MPH

Was not aware that you could drive cars which had MPH speedometers...

15k over the limit is about $800 plus 4 points deduction.
    is it really worth it.
just think of it as charity.

are you contesting just to make a point.
