I think it's always interesting to meet people from all over the place, but what I find kinda weird is when people get super specific, like when you see ad's for a flat-share from a korean-american saying they are looking only for a female japanese room-mate. Does that mean they'd even exclude themselves from consideration?

Yeah, it's like if you're an Australian Anglo, all i really wanna know is whether you're a bogan, country boy or a city slicker wine sipping snob.

As for "where the hell are all the europeans", well, i think they're still at the EUROVISION afterparty.

On a seperate topic, being a semi-anglo Australian (hehe, well an african, indian, french, spanish, english mix, but let's not get into that...), I find that whenever I hear a really occa Australian accent from some tourist (usually in the ladies market) I inwardly groan and run like hell in the other direction.

Has anyone else experienced this strange phenomenon?
