    Unhappy Rejected work visa..what now?

I got word today that my employment visa has been rejected.
I am a graphic designer witth 5 years of experience and very good references.

My future employer wants to try again, so i am currently searching for tips to improve my chances of getting the visa.

My employer and me plan to use a lawyer to hand in the application, we are currently considering the enormous costs.

Do you have any tips what to do if the visa gets rejected?
I already emailed the immigration department and asked about more details why it was rejected.

    thanks for your help
    frustrated,
    Michael

Did they say why they rejected it? Maybe your employer didn't convince them that they couldn't find a local suitable to do your job...

Send a PM to Emigra. They have a great assesment program, in which if they accept your case, I think they offer a money back program. Given that they do hundreds of these a month, I have a feeling they'll be able to tell you what was wrong with the application.

Unfortunately from what I've heard... sometimes mistakes are harder to fix.

    hello

This happens to be the most common reason why applications are rejected. Check your PM!

Yeah me too. They gave me a training visa though, which is about to expire so here we go again. I have a number of things wrong with mine. Originally they put 'trainee' on my contract with $10K salary, which is obviously no good even though they later changed it. It was declined due to not having the 'special skills' needed to Hong Kong. I also do not have a degree, which is obviously a huge thing., even though I have 3.5 years industry experience.

Hey if this Emigra person/company is around please get in touch with me asap...
