cancel contract and cancel visa process

    Good day to everyone here,

I have recently quit my job and then got a new job offer,
so I signed the employment contract (Company A) and the company started to process the work permit transfer for me.

but after 2 weeks another company (Company B) which is my first choice company come back to me and offer me a job with very attractive package.
It's quite a while after the interview with them. I really thought that they didn't want to hire me that's why I have to go for Company A

and I am really strugling about giving up this opportunity.
I feel like am I being unethical if I turn down the Company A, and I am also worry that will give me trouble from the immigration.

Can someone give me some advice about this.
Company B is a MNC and Company A is just local company. I truly beleive that Company B will give me better prospect. And the whole interview process with them was very profesionally done.

Should I change? am I being unethical by doing this? or will it give me trouble for immigration to re-process my application?

Anyone please give me advice anout this

I was in a somehow similar situation a few years back.
Bring the employment letter from company B to the immigration and tell them that yo want to cancel the first application (company A) and apply for a work visa with company B.

The clock will be reset to zero (4-6 weeks application time) but that's about it. There should be no problem if you stay in your given industry and if the new salary is at least as good as the old one.

    Good luck!

Has anyone else had this experience recently?

Do you know if it's still the same situation?

    Any help much appreciated,

    Thanks

Yes, you should change. Yes, you are unethical.
I had a somewhat similar problem a couple of weeks ago, and I went unethical...

I am not saying choosing company B over A (when you've already committed with A) is wrong or something you shouldn't be doing. But, couple of years ago, I had been in the same situation, where after signing my contract with A, B called me over to talk about offer, I had to tell them straight out that thanks but I can't go ahead with you as I have already accepted the offer with A, they said no problem but keep in touch and if you are not happy in the new role please let us know. I am still with A...
