Hi sir just was curious that how long more does it take after your reference number is given to you by the hk immigration department . Is there another letter after i receive my forst letter to get the approval letter . I look online the status is showing in process .

The letter you received, is it for confirmation of your application?

If so, it can up to a year before your application is considered by a committee. If your application is accepted by the committee, you will receive the approval-in-principle letter.

The QMAS visa is not a case of applying and getting the visa. It is a long approval process that tends to favours Mainland applicants.
