    Need to cancel chinese visa?

    Hi!
I'm wondering should I cancel my temporary residence permit in China as I'm no longer working in the company, but the residence has not expired yet? As I'll move to HK and will be sponsored for working visa by my new employer, could the chinese visa somehow negatively influence on it?
From the other hand, I can easily travel from HK to China unlimited times (before my chinese residence expire).Any comments?

Chinese visa and Hong Kong visa = two different things. Therefore they would have nothing to do with getting each other. (except sometimes in China's case where they want to see you live in Hong Kong long term before offering long term visas)

Not sure why you would cancel. It will be left idol if you leave China and don't go back. No big deal, and if you do go back it's free.

    Thanks!
So,no negative, but only positive effect! What if I ask my past employer not exclude me from the company's list - I'll be some kind of "nominal employee". In this case I can prolong my residence permit each year. Is it eligiable?
