But that's the point. What can they provide? It would be very difficult to convince HK Imd that they need to have meetings with a student! I'm sure they would also want proof of a company that she works for outside of HK as well.

Not trying to scupper you plans, but there are very few countries restricted to such limited visitor visa's. There have been many people who have met girls here with similar restrcited visitor status and have tried, unsuccessfully, to have their g/f's stay longer. The immigration department would pay more attention to a request like this.

Alby, without being married there is no chance of a dependant visa.

We've been together 5> years. Oh,it's so complicated here in HK. The one thing's better in China - visa matters. Every time she came to stay with me for 2-3 months,I just made an invitation letter from my company, provided all the details (reg. No, licence etc.) and that's it!!
So,the only way to make visa runs? Or I hope there won't be a problem with extension.
From the other hand, as she's still a student and the HK company has many russian company-clients,maybe it would be possible to sponsor training visa for her (say she's got an internship with the company)? I think it could be the good reason,as the HK company has clients from Russia and need to communicate, solve some adm.issues etc.

Getting an extension is not usually a problem once off but almost impossible to get repeat extensions. So if you apply for a month visitor visa you can probably get it extended for another month. However you won't get another one so she will have to go back for a while. Then they will ask her the stupid question of why she spends so much time in Hong Kong. Immigration officials are not the most romantic of people. If you think it is a long term relationship and neither of you are already married then that is the only way out really. Been there done it as they say, like many others on this board I would guess.

Yep I would normally agree with you on that the chances are very close to nil!

However, in 2001 I worked in Beijing and a guy was brought in from a Europe office and his partner/gf came to China on a fully authorized dependent visa - my guess was that the HR people had connections.

    Multiple Entry Business ivsa,

Dear, there is multiple entry business visa for some passport holders usually this visa is same as visitor visa and only the difference is in the immigration files

, it is important to know what passport exactly do you hold. if your passport has visa free entry to Hong Kong then you can not have this business visa but you are eligible to apply for Hong Kong Travel pass. a normal travel pass is valid for 3 years and will allow you to stay here for 2 months for business negotioations purpose.
