Well the UK is well off with 180 days! I guess you used to rule this place, so maybe that's why!

I forgot to add - you might be ok going to Macau or Shenzen (China) for a day trip to come back in for your next 180 days. These places are fairly close and where alot of people go to re-activate tourist visa days or HK visas once issued. Rather than going back to the UK and then coming back to HK. But you might like to travel back home too in between visiting your partner.

Chances are its only going to work once or twice before immigration start asking questions as to why she's here and not working etc.

No chance in hell of her getting it done 7/8 times over the next two years.

So your options are

1. Marry her so she'll get a dependants visa
2. She gets a job in HK
3. Turn down the job and stay with her

Thats essentially it
