I have applied for chinese naturalization. I have submitted all the required documents. For residential proof I have given the letter from landlord as I do not have tenancy agreement. My tenency agreement was expired on 2004. Still living in same place. I have given all my utiliy bills fas residential proof. The IMMD wont accept. But the IMMD accepted the same documents for dependent visa for my wife. Why there is such different handling?

I'd assume that a dependancy visa usually gets less scrutiny.
