    Informing Immigration Dept

    Hi

My husband and I are both PR but our son has a dependant visa as he was not born in HK. His visa started from Feb 2007 and was renewed in Feb 2011 for the next 3 years. Now we have moved to India and come to HK once a year.

My question is do I inform the immigration that my son is not living in HK anymore and if I dont will I have any problems at the time of his renewal?

    Thanks for your help

Are you planning to come back to live?

I doubt you can renew your son's visa if you are not living in Hong Kong..

Such application will be considered only when the applicant continues to meet the eligibility criteria for entry for residence as dependants and the sponsor remains a bona fide Hong Kong resident living in the HKSAR.
