We are considering an opportunity in Hong Kong with the company I am currently employed by. I carry a US passport. My wife, however, is a permanent resident of the US (Green Card), but has a Korean passport.
Will this present a problem?

Not at all. But go to ICE and get what is called a "permit to re-enter" for your wife. its a white passport looking thing, and she can put visas in it. She will get a dependent visa from your application to HK immigration. The reason you want a permit to re-enter is because with that, she can stay abroad for up to two years without having to go back to the US, and the time toward her citizenship will be tolled as if she was still in the USA.
