    Alright. I suppose the passport that I found is enough evident as I used it to create HKPID when I was 11 years old.

    Yo must have a Chinese name on your HKID, but passport can contain foreign name, only.
    On the Permit is your Chinese and your foreign name, which don't need to match.

    This can be a problem when you fly within China and boarding ticket has your Chinese name in PinYin, only.though not a serious one

    The person (Foreigner) went to CTS Kowloon Bay to get her adopted baby a HRP but CTS said both the HK ID card and HKSAR passport MUST have Chinese name.

    @wtbhotia

    Could be, you know, they continuously change the reqs. And they just execute Guangdong PSB's orders.

    How long does it usually take to get your Return Home Permit after applying in person?

    I'm a HKPID ***OA holder with a HK and US Passport. Do they make it more difficult for overseas people?

    If they asked if I hold another passport should I be answering "no"? Or does that not matter?
