Sister moving here for 2-3 months

My sister would like to live with my husband & me for the summer after she graduates college, before she has to enter the "real" world (we're all US citizens).
I know that she can stay here on a 90 day tourist visa -- but does anyone know if we could sponsor her for a dependant's visa so that she could potentially get a job while she was here? We're here on work visas -- not sure if siblings can be considered "dependants".

    Anyone dealt with this before?

They can't unfortunately. On Employment Visas only (legally married) spouses and minor children can be dependants. Permanent Residents may also sponsor parents over the age of 60 as dependants.

    See http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_1.htm#residence

If she were Australian, Kiwi or Irish she could come on a Working Holiday Visa, but they aren't available to US citizens.
