QMAS VISA0 Fund Deceleration

Hi,

As per the QMAS requirements ,a copy of proof of personal net worth like bank statements etc needs to be submitted along with the application form.

Can anyone please guide me , how much minimum amount needs to be declared .I read somewhere its 1000 HKD .Is it same or more/less.

It's a lot more than HK$1000, which is a trivial amount of money! A figure of HK$200,000 has been quoted a lot, but I don't think there's a hard fast rule.

For anyone who is truly "Quality" then HK$200,000 would also be a trivial amount of money.

It also presumably depends on whether you are planning to bring dependents...

The idea is to have enough funds that will last 12 months for you to look for a job in HK without relying on government assistance. HKD$1,000 in this case is laughable as it will probably just last you for a day or two max. Multiply that by 365 days and see what you get. It also depends whether you are bringing in dependents or not.
