HK or Thailand marriage better for Dep. Visa

Hi, I was just wondering if, when applying for a dependant visa, immigration takes a different view on the application depending on where the marriage took place?

Specifically would they look favourably if the marriage took place in Hong Kong as opposed to Thailand?

cant see why it would matter, as long as you can show HK immigration the marriage certificate.

only issue is that you may need the thai marriage certificate translated into english if its in thai only
