Will delay in dependent visa delay work visa

Hi All

I am moving to Hong Kong with my wife next month and my employer has submited the work visa and dependent visa application to HK immd.

In the midst of processing the application, the officer has requested our marriage certificate to be translated for dependent visa application purpose. The translation may take up to a week.

I wish to know whether my work visa will be processed first irrespective of my wife's dependent visa or the the officer will wait for the translated marriage certificate and then process both together?

usually if the applications for visa are submitted together then they will process it together. Try to submit the translated marriage certificate asap.
