Hi - I moved to HK a few months ago through internal transfer. I realize that I really like Hong Kong but my job not so much. So my question is, how is it working if you wanna change job. I read that your Visa is linked to your contract so it means that I need to find another sponsorship. I was wondering if anyone here had the same issue and how did it go?
Is there a way of transfering it instead of re-applying for a new one?

The employment visa is linked to the employer. New employer, new visa.

If you resign your current job, you can still stay back till you visa end date. If you get a new job, then need a new visa as @claire ex-ax said.
