    How long can I stay?

    Hi,

I am staying in Hong Kong on work visa. If I decided to resign from my company now and the company then notifies the Immigration Office, then how long can I validly stay further in Hong Kong?

you may be able to stay but you CANNOT work for anyone except your sponsoring company.

I would call immigration for a definitive answer to the length of time you have to leave the city if you do not find another job.

Does anyone know how many days in a year visitors can stay in Hong Kong? I know you can stay usually for 90 days at a time, but is there a limit to the total number of days visited in a year?

There is a limit which depends on your passport. For some visitors it might be 180 days, others 14 days. You can exit and re-enter Hong Kong as many times as it takes for Immigration to get suspicious and deny you entry.

If you don't want to call Immigration, u can email them. They were really quick in replying my queries, within the same day.

And as for Judy in HK? What the heck was that useless, insensitive response? Are you for real? How come she's not banned from the site yet?
