Immigration office open hours over CNY

Hi, I have been asking a lot of questions lately, but anyway.

Immigration office is closing over Chinese new year I am assuming? If so when? I have looked but I cannot find any information.

Wouldn't they follow the official holidays?

It also says on the ImmD website:

8:45am - 5:00pm (Mon - Fri)
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

So if it's closed on public holidays and CNY has three public holidays, it will be closed for the five days from Feb 9 (Sat) to Feb 13 (Wed). Re-opening on the 14th (Thu).

Why would it be otherwise?
