    Investment visa law firm recommendations?

I have been advised to consult a lawyer specializing in 'Establishing a business for Immig purposes'. I need a HKID and this is the best route for me. I'm to see the lawyer mostly to be certain to submit the correct and most suitable responses to the Immig forms. Can anyone suggest a firm or two and if you have first hand info, that even better.

Sounds to me like you need a specialist Immigration Consultancy (they are normally staffed by ex ImmD people). The two names that come to mind are VisaPro and Emigra. Google them.

    Is that actually true?

I don't think Emigra have anybody ex ImmD, and the only other agency I ever worked with was clearly in the business of pretending to be something they are not (they pretended that there was another office upstairs, had a foreign name while it was run by a local, had lots of certificates on the wall that didn't make any sense, made empty promises and hyped all their successful cases and happy customers).

OK, not actually sure about Emigra. I believe it to be true for VisaPro from what I've read.

What business do you plan to establish?

Would it be an old-fashioned idea to establish a business for business purposes? Sounds more sustainable to me...
