I'm just guessing that you were born in Canada, so were your parents "settled" there when you were born? If no, then you will be a Chinese citizen and can get a HKSAR passport.
I had a friend that was born in Canada and then he went back to HK and they thought he wasn't a Chinese citizen, and had to go through a bunch of stuff to get it re-established. (He actually was a Chinese citizen because his parents were on student permits when he was born)
