If he is from a country that requires a visa for a visit, the stay would not be very long - only perhaps 14 days. It would be unlikely he could get an extension.

U can try to apply but it takes time too.no doubt

I doubt it. He has to apply at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate and show a bank balance of Pak Rupees 500,000/ It will take some time and then maximum14 days visa will be granted.
About Rs500,00/ was told to me by a Pakistani friend who visited me recently.
