Don't worry about jury service. After nearly 60 years in Hong Kong between us, neither I or my old man have ever been called.
Why can't the government have one big computer database, you only have to tell one department everything, rather than having to tell several different departments the same thing several times over?

What if we no longer have a Hong Kong address because we've moved abroad?
Then you're unlikely to be stopped by hk police and asked to produce your id card.....
