China visa Q

Have a 6 month (?), "L" visa, multiple entry, each for 30 days after entry,issued 31 October. Visa says 'enter before 30 April'. If i enter on 29 April will i be allowed to stay until 28 May?
Wonder why they don't simply say 'last day in china 30 April', or whatever.

Because it is the last day you can enter and not the last day you can stay.
