We are about to raise a letter to IMMG to support a new director who is on a work visa, non perm HKID.
Any things we should make sure is on it so this transfer can go smoothly?
Thanks.

I'm going through the process right now (transferring from dependent to work) and it has been a battle. You will need to fill out the forms, provide business justification why you can't hire local (never mind the fact that I was considered "local" on dependent visa) , contract, provide a copy of the job posting or local recruitment proof, reference letters, academic transcripts, professional certifications, employment letter from previous employer... This is what they are demanding from me and this is me having been in the same role for the past 4 years. So best of luck to you! Hope this helps!

We are going to leave all that sort of stuff up to the guy himself. More interested in the letter and details in the letter from us to support the application.
