Adding a dependant to a working visa after visa being approved?

Hi All,

I'm looking a for a little advise, perhaps someone can enlighten me as to who I can contact or just a little advise would thoroughly be appreciated.

I currently live here in Australia, and my partner has just been successful in a job offer in Hong Kong. Its clearly obvious that a 'partner' or defacto' cannot be classed as a dependent, so I'm looking for alternative options to play with.

Because we aren't married, yes it will be an option down the track but not at this present moment, my question is..
'How hard, and what are the efforts required to adding a dependent to a work visa that is already successful?'

As stated, any help or advise would wonderful!

You could check out the working holiday visa scheme although there are some restrictions on age (18 - 30 I believe).
