I'm thinking of going over Easter.
This would likely be my only visit to mainland this year.
So best suggestion seems to be to 'try it' ?

If I can't get in, i could go Macau..

NZ and China have good relations.
    Better use your NZ passport.
QUOTE=Griffin3;3407021]That's true, unless such visas have stopped overall.

I hold UK and NZ passports.

The fee for UK passports for a 5-day SZ visa is over RMB 900 - use your NZ passport!

    Thanks; good to know.
Anyone got a recent photo of the price list? A French friend might want to come....

It is a long way to go to the border on weekend or evening just to check a price list!

No it's not. It's RMB 304. You are the one who took the picture last September and posted it here. You forgot your own post?

Actually yes. I confused that with 'America', which is a whoppy RMB 956

I will go later this week and get a new picture.

Thanks anyone with up to day pictures, yes.

So if the country is not listed, then it is the default price? Or...?

e.g., someone told me that French can't get that visa.....

Is if for the SZ area only.

Do the check visas at train station now? (it is several years since I was last in China) any thoughts on trying a daytrip to GZ from SZ?

France was on the blacklist at one time, but I think they are in Beijing's good books these days.

And the visa is officially just for Shenzhen. Visas are checked if you stay overnight in a hotel (visa and passport details are sent to the local psb office by the hotel reception), and when buying train tickets the passport number is usually needed. So, if you want to make an overnight trip to Guangzhou, get a full visa.
