    I am not sure about 3 days, but I know people that were given 7 days. That was a while back though.

    The 6 month are by no way guaranteed. But refuse entry is very unlikely.

    Three days was for dramatic effect. I think the period is more like 5 days for the visa runner to get their 'affairs in order'.

    It was 15 years ago, an Australian friend got just 48 hours.
    This was after multiple visa runs and 2 employment visa rejections.

    Its completely up to the officer and their mood.

    She.
    And she knew her time was up as she had been warned about doing visa runs. She was unable to get a job as she got rejected for work visas.
    She did it again (Macau) and was given just 48 hours. She packed up her 2 suitcases and went to BKK to hang out for a while.

    Lost touch with her long ago....

    I know two who were refused entry after a visa run even to collect their stuff. They were Filipinas though.
