Mum of two and I am wondering, since the "living in carer " programme ended in 2014, I am wondering if the domestic helper can still apply to work in Canada? easy, difficult or not possible and how?

Apply to work as a.. domestic helper? At the same rate of pay you're paying him/her now?
So you're bringing in your own worker and paying her a low wage (compared to minimum wage in Canada, depending on province, I guess.)
I'm going to guess it's either difficult or not possible, but hey good luck!
Here is the official website from the Canadian Government. Girls are still going to Canada as Caregivers as we still conduct First Aid and CPR training required to be a Caregiver. Live-in caregivers
it seems not possible from what I can read from the website? I guess there must be someone in Canada can do the similar work from the local labour market.
Very few, if any, locals want to do that job. That is why you have to apply for the Local Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Once you have that you can then apply for the visa. Remember, the girls are being brought into Canada as Caregivers, not maids.
