    Dependent visa (Hong Kong) refugees status

    Dear all,

    is it a refugees status and have criminal record. Will very difficult to get ID card in hk?
    As we got refused recently?
    and normally how long we can get?

    Yes. It is. I want to know when my husband can get ID card.
    How long it takes times?

    In your case the best way is this your husband need to go back his homeland and you apply his depended visa. It 'll takes less time otherwise.. you never know how long they 'll take to process.

    I knew it will take long times to wait. But he can’t go back, and as I know he is not safe in his home country. Besides, Me and my family can fully support him in Hong Kong.
    We are now re-applying our case via our lawyer, as I read all the related information , if any merits added to your case, it takes few months to get the reconsideration feedback.
    Really hope he can get soon. He is so boring at home.

    As you now have a lawyer, that is where you will get your best advice, not from here.

    could you please let me know how long dose it take you first time result from immigration department a refusal letter

    its been 15 months i am still waiting for my dp

    These are special circumstances.. the timeline depends on the complexity and decisions are difffer case by case.

    Better you contact immigration or lawyer up.

    Dear responder

    i haved applied my dp last year april and i have a daughter and my refugee cas has been finished under final high court trial

    i have visited number of time to my immigration officer and since 14 months there a morethan 3 officers has changed every time new caseofficer and under process

    i am from india i dont have any illigal activity in hongkong execpt oversatay for 10 days

    i just need approval or refusal result asap

    but immigration give a very very stress
