    I've got the feeling that if something was wrong with the application, then they won't be bothered asking you to re-submit information. So basically, once you have submitted an application then it's either a "good-to-go" or a "no-go".

    There was nothing wrong with the application at all. They didn't ask us for any more info or to resubmit anything. They just took 7 months to actually process the application (the application was granted).

    On priority service and we are now day 40.
    Escalated on the 32nd and have been told to wait 15 working days for a response!
    When calling Immigration I was told summer is the busiest time for Immigration/Home Office - student visas, families coming in just before school starts in Sept, tourist visas and then settlement/spouse - all of this combined is causing a huge delay
