    Immgration said wait two weeks as per the source/agent said!! Now im vry confuse abt the timing of acknowledgment letter! Any idea how many weeks it may take to give acknowledgment letter.

    Again ask the agent whom you are paying for this service. They are 'experts' therefore push back to them!

    Not sure what is going on here with this other guy, but an update to my own case. I got a letter from Immigration Asking for more information for the visit visa last week.

    So to answer my own question it seems it was 4 weeks from the date the application was submitted. Unfortunately wasnt very lucky with the dependent visa application which was rejected.
