Random suggestion. Go to directory.gov.hk and try to find the senior officer in charge, would not hesitate to go as senior as possible and plead your case and urgency and ask for their help.. Especially since you have a wedding to attend.

Guys, thanks for this. I managed to get through to someone on one of these numbers. The officer in charge said they don’t have a record of my application and asked when did the Chinese embassy in Singapore submitted my application. Going to the embassy right now to ask them and come clean about this whole thing.
Guys you have no idea what I’ll do without you guys. Called all these numbers, made some noise, and 30 mins later I get a call from the embassy that my visa is approved. Really wanna thank shri and dynamco. Special shoutout to you guys
