Arrow Verification of Eligibility for Permanent Identity Card

    Dear all,

I was wondering if someone has any experience in applying for the Verification of Eligibility for Permanent Identity Card.

I read on the IMMD website, that you can apply online? How does that work? I always thought you need to do this in person?
If it's right that you need to do this in person, is 3 weeks in January enough time to do that?

I would like to hear from you.

    Many thanks!

Or is there a similar thing, but then for Right to Land?

You can submit your application paperwork online, but you have to be in Hong Kong to attend an 'interview' in person to finish the process...

You probably have not read her other thread.

OP , you must be in HK on the day you submit your app, then can leave the same day and handle everything else remotely
    There is no interview..

3 weeks is probably not enough to get approved, they will send you an acknowledgement letter and tell you what kind of (additional) documents they would like to see from you

At the end of the process, if you don't qualify for ROA but for RTL they will give you RTL.
Afaik there is no need for another application /form
