    Internship Visa

    Hi,

    UK citizen here.

I am on a break from my university studies. I wish to take up an internship in Hong Kong for a couple of months (1 month each).

Will a Working Holiday Visa cover me for these, and, if so, will the employer be required to do anything or can this be done entirely personally? I don't want to cause the company any hassle.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you, but I have looked there and it does not seem to say.

Because UK citizens are also allowed to do any kind of study or training course on a working holiday visa, I think you have no problems doing an internship. And UK can work for the same employer for up to 12 months so shouldn't have any issue.

There is an immigration consultant who runs a website and answers questions for free (and also has a useful website with tons of answers to immigration questions). Have a look and see if it helps.

    Good luck...
