You cannot apply for dependents visa for your parents, until you become PR.

You can apply for Visitors Visa ( 3 to 6 months)

The answer is NO, you can only apply dependant visas for your parents after you become PR and only if they are 60 or above.

For a sponsor who is a Hong Kong permanent resident or a resident who is not subject to a limit of stay (i.e. a resident with the right to land or on unconditional stay), the following dependants may apply to join him/her for residence in the HKSAR:

    : his/her parent aged 60 or above.

There is plenty of valid information on here in the answers. And the responses were quicker than immd's response times.

Just saying, sometimes it depends. Not everything deserves your standard one-liners. There are plenty of thoughtful and valid answers sourced from the crowd who have been there and done that.

Thank you, this is new news for me.

But what to tell immigration the reason of calling parents for 3 to 6 months ?

I think they will give visa only for very strong reason ?

@moonsafari - technically she will have to sponsor as IMMD does not mentioned "in laws".

I do however feel they "might" view the sponsorship positively given that you're a PR. No real insider knowledge, but it would depend on both your abilities (living / financial etc), willingness to care for their medical / financial welfare.

No harm with her applying and you adding that you'll take responsibility etc...
