    Post Hong Kong ID

    When you apply Hong Kong ID, is it okay to put your chinese name? Even your documents in your home country doesn't have chinese name?

    Yes, I think I can cause also as I remember some documents I've submitted in the HK immigration have chinese name on it. many thanks.

    Only for the Chinese name part.

    Now trying to remove a made up Chinese name from your ID card is a nightmare, but that is for another thread.

    Yes can add. If you add after your first application you have to pay for name change and your ID will have a N for name change.
