Documents for first British passport for HK born baby

I've just been trying to research what I'll need to apply for our baby's first British passport, after she's born in HK. Parents and grandparents are all British citizens with British passports. Has anyone applied recently and know whether I'll need to send the grandparents' birth or marriage certificates (either scanned or originals)? I'm worried about how to do it as we all live in separate countries, none of which are the UK. Thanks for your help
