Forgot to Renew My Daughter's Dependant VISA

I am on work visa working in Hong Kong and my visa is due next year. Not only until just now i realize my daughter's dependant visa expired in Aug 2020. i stupidly thought that her due date is same as mine hence missed the due date. What should i do please? i am unable to speak to immigration by phone now as it is fri evening. Should i submit a renewal for her? Should i re-apply the dependant visa for her? i seriously worry as it is overdue for couple months already. Anyone can advise please?

Go to immigration on Monday, I am sure if you grovel they will be fine.

Something similar happened to me too, years ago: I forgot to renew my passport, it expired and so did, consequently, my dependent visa. I remained without visa for a couple of months, without realizing it.

Then I went to immigration with the new passport, told the truth and they simply asked me to write a letter explaining what happened.
It all worked fine: got my visa renewed and years later didn’t even had any problems when asking for Permanent Residency (I was so afraid those two months hiatus could reset the clock!)

Just go there asap and gently explain everything.
Also beg, doesn’t hurt. Make puppy eyes too.
    Good luck!
