Yes you can.Original Post Deleted
It isn't officially documented as far as I know, but many people on these forums (including me) have experienced the situation and we have all had the same response from Immigration.
Hello
When you find a new employer- what is the procedure you need to take in order to get sponsorship? Is it the same as the first employer's? 2. or do you automatically get work approval?
Thanks
You have to fill in the same form to apply for a transfer of sponsorship. Your new sponsor has to provide the same justification for why they need to employ a non Permanent Resident. The only difference is that you don't need to resubmit copies of the supporting documents you submitted the first time (education certificates etc). If the new sponsor has sponsored Employment Visas before then it can be quite quick, but it isn't automatic. When I did it I think it was just over 2 weeks from application to approval.
when your working visa is set to expire soon is it possible to leave hk and come back in as a visitor?
in same situation as you, they told me yes you can stay in HK but cannot work in HK, however they may anytime cancel your Visa without any reason at the border/custom office even you go shenzen/macao,....I dont know how often its happens, gd luck for job hunting I have been searching for quite long time without success for almost a year, the local company are not willing to sponsor expat even they want you,....Original Post Deleted
