Booking tickets for terminated Domestic Helper

I need some advice on booking tickets for my helper. I terminated mine and am looking to book the ticket.

The DH is trying to find another employer in HK and not going back to her home country.

If her last day is 1 July, ImmD should give her 2 more weeks (i.e. Till 15 Jul) - The following are my options:

    1. Book a ticket right away for 15 Jul
    2. Book a ticket around 15 July - I might save money in case she doesn't have to leave HK for her new employer but if she has to leave, the ticket prices will be high
    3. Give the DH cash for the amount of Option 1 (which the DH is pushing for) & get a sign from her, which discharges me from any responsibility

I prefer Option 1 as it's the cleanest way but DH is pleading for Option 3. What should I do?

Give her the cash plus the bus fares to the airport this end and from the airport in her home country to her residence

also give $100 per day travel allowance.

whatever the reasons for termination it is stressful for all parties involved so make it legal, simple and try to accommodate the helpers wishes.

Of course she will just want the cash. In which she will just use it to try and support herself until she gets the next employer. Her main goal will for sure be to not go back to her country. Because she just can’t make enough back there. Plus her family will really start to worry. About their finances. If you just give her the money then you better make damn sure that no legal ramifications can hit you later for that. She might try and get you in trouble later on. Saying you didn’t give her the money and/or you just threw her out. Bad for you. I would try and go the most legal way possible. To protect yourself. That’s the bottom line. Good luck.

Yeah I am booking her a ticket and calling it a day. She’s has a lot of attitude issues. We gave her a lot of freedon and was rewarded with misconduct.
