    I have only once seen my dad's passport being added to a second booklet.. i think they extended the maturity as well, so what sith said is quite right.
    But problem these days, many countries started not stamping your passports. I remember going to taiwan and back and my passport didn't show any trace.. so hard to argue its full now...

    Oh never seen that. I did renew mine once because it was full, since then I always get the Business Passport which has double the pages.

    I used to have 3-4 booklets stapled together.
