    Post Applying PR

April 2018 to November 2018 - Under training visa.

8 mos absent in HK due to waiting of employment visa that was been submitted before I go back home.

July 2019 - Until present (General Employment policy.

Does the training visa and 8 mos of staying home due to waiting of visa will be counted to apply the PR? Thanks lot.

No it does not count. Since you were waiting on a visa, you had no rights to be a resident here.

Your residency started when you got an uninterrupted visa and you'll be eligible for PR once you have stayed resident in HK for 7 years.

You are seriously being over optimistic and borderline delusional about this. How could you be resident in HK while waiting for a visa in your home country?

Was the other visa (training) still in force whilst you were at home waiting?

Yes, the 8 months without a visa will be seen as a break in your ordinary residence, so you'll need to wait till 7 years after July 2019. (If it had been 2 weeks, say, then you'd have a strong case that the small gap should be ignored under the "de minimis" principle)
