Too bad they've not put up said posters on their f'ing application site or on John Lee's forehead.

I assume they will begin treating people with these permits like they treat HKPR Chinese Nationals, who are ineligible for APEC Cards entry into China?

Also, from my understand, not all APEC holders get the CHN clearance, right? Wonder if the CHN clearance be renounced ;-)

The new travel card gives you 90 days and automated clearance - clear winner, let the China approval for APEC entry get cancelled.

But the APEC card is for those that are working, the Travel Permit is for us mere PR tourists?

recently noticed that when entering China with APEC card, they always ask if I want use APEC or visa free. Not that I care, I just spend maximum 2 days, I just the APEC card to cut the queue, but that's something new too
