    I did not need my passport to register my thumbprints at Shenzhen Bay last month.

    I used my card for the 1st time yesterday and went smoothly. Crossed thru Lowu and went into the Foreigner line. They did ask for my mobile #. Friend went first and she also used her card. He asked if we were together. After customs went to the 2/F to "Echannel Registry" for fingerprints. Fortunately there wasn't anyone there and we were done in a couple mins.

    Came back via Lok Ma Chau used the manual counter again.
