    I wouldn't even know if they'd called. I don't answer calls unless it's family/a known work number

Not even when you know there might be a call from unknown number regarding your MTP application? Well, if you prefer to shoot yourself in the foot...

UK Citizen, so hopefully I get mine. But yeah, I hope they leave a voicemail if they do call. Otherwise I'll have to find out in person next month

Do they call you if you win? I only buy old school paper tickets

As an Indian passport holder with Permanent Residency in Hong Kong, I received a communication over 1.5 weeks ago, indicating a delay in processing without providing details, only a commitment to contact me upon completion. Subsequently, I have been patiently awaiting further updates.

Hong Kong boasts a population exceeding 7 million, with a majority being Chinese residents. Notably, Chinese nationals typically acquire Mainland travel permits within a span of 5-10 calendar days. Furthermore, travel visas are issued within 5 working days. Therefore, the delay in my case does not seem to be attributable to the sheer volume of applications.

Hope I get my card soon

Got to know about a friend who has been waiting for more than 2 weeks. Received a call and then nothing since then.

so, nothing can be said on the duration of the delay. It's all too unclear.
