Hey guys! Seem to have unfortunately lost my cardholder which had my HKID and China travel permit card. I’m a permanent resident (non-Chinese citizen). If anyone has gone through this already for your China card:
1) Will my temporary paper HKID be sufficient to apply for a lost card replacement?
2) Do I need to reapply (and resubmit) the application for access to information from HK immigration? As my China card application (and the application for access to information) was less than 6 months ago.

I had read that. It’ doesn’t get into the specifics operationally in a loss situation, it just says “sign a statement of loss” if a card is lost.
